Challenge No. 33 ~ Reflections

August 15, 2010

Welcome!   We’re so glad you could stop in today.  We have a new and exciting challenge this week … a little bit tougher than our usual challenges, but once you try it – I think you’ll like it!   We’re featuring REFLECTIONS ~ which can be reflections on water, ice, windows, mirrors . . . anything that could possibly have a reflection!

And, the REALLY good news is we have a FABULOUS sponsor this week!  It’s our own Suzanne Dean!!   How cool is that??

For those of you who might not be familiar with Suzanne’s amazing work, I’ll try to touch on just SOME of her accomplishments . . . She’s an awesome Copic teacher, she’s an inspiring papercrafter, she has spearheaded the new crafting publication Through the Craftroom Door AND developed online classes at Color Me Creative Classroom, she’s on LOTS of design teams, She’s a loving wife, Mom to two TEENAGERS (!), and a truly wonderful friend!   Phew, makes me tired just talking about it . . .  as I said, this is just a sample of her many talents!

Suzanne’s very generous and exciting prize this week for one VERY lucky participant of our Challenge No. 33 will be
A Copic Class from the Color Me Creative Classroom!!!

You will have the opportunity to pick one of four classes.  Please note that Class 4 is an advanced class in which Suzanne covers reflection coloring, and also some of the tougher Copic techniques.

Pretty cool, huh?!?!

PLEASE NOTE: You will have until August 31st, 12:00 p.m. CDT to post your artwork and be eligible for a chance to win this weeks prize; The winner will be announced along with our next challenge post on September 1st.  I apologize that we are not able to use Inlinkz, unfortunately, it doesn’t work on WordPress blogs.

Thanks to everyone for joining us for our Reading challenge. We had some amazing projects submitted and what an awesome sponsor Elizabeth Dulemba was!! She’s a true gift to all of us! The lucky winner of your choice of one of Elizabeth’s awesome books is . . .

This challenge really was a challenge! And I loved it although I have been working on my card for 10 days! As for the DT cards – they are amazing. I enjoyed looking at every one and I also looked up all of the tutorials. All in all – this has been one of my favourite challenges yet; full of tutorials, inspiration and lots of talent from the DT! Warmest wishes, Lesley
