About Us

Welcome!   We are a group of Copic lovers eager to share our Creations and learn some new techniques in the process!

We hope you will find the tutorials and samples useful in your Copic artwork.  We are also VERY anxious to see YOUR Copic Creations.  Each month on the 1st and 15th, we will be showcasing a new Copic technique and/or color combination, hoping you will share your projects with us using these techniques.

Hello, my name is Cheryl and I have been a crazy stamper for roughly 14 years.  I am fortunate to live in sunny Albuquerque, NM, smack dab in the Land of Enchantment, with my wonderful husband and our 3 furry faced feline house guests.  A couple of years ago, I gave up the hum drum routine of a stagnant managerial job and now focus entirely on cardmaking and teaching card classes at the local rubber stamp store.  It’s certainly a lifestyle change, but everyday it’s a joy to wake up and spend the day at my craft desk, up to my elbows in paper, stamps, and of course, Copics ;D

Until I found Copics, I steered clear of coloring images for my cards.  I wasn’t comfortable with pencils and other types of markers didn’t quite give me the finished result I was looking for.  Now, I can’t imagine a world without color and Copics.  What a dreary place that would be!

I am thrilled to be a part of this group of talented artists, whom I have idolized for a very long time 🙂

Hi I’m Heather, I’ve been 50 something for a few years now. I have two children, a daughter who has two sons and a son who has one daughter.
My cat (Chester) and I have recently moved from Blackburn, Lancashire in the UK to Bergen in Germany. My son and family live here and I wanted to spend a little time with and around them.

I worked as a beauty/holistic therapist until I retired, prior to coming to Germany, but I trained originally to do graphic design. I have been crafting of one type or another all my life but only started papercrafting a few years ago. About three years ago I tried stamping and that was it – an addiction was born and from there came blogging – my second addiction – I have ‘met’ so many wonderful blogging people, made so many cyber friends and am amazed at the awesome talent out there.
I’ve tried all mediums available but my first love has to be my Copics.

My other hobbies are gardening, reading and travelling.

I’m a very proud Army wife since 1990 to the most amazing (and patient) man, and mom to two awesome teenage boys.  We’ve lived all over the globe thanks to the military, but we call Arizona home.

I began coloring with ChartPak and Prismacolor graphic markers in design school.  Years later, one of my own students brought Copics to class and I tried them out.  Now I’m hooked!!  I’m so thrilled  to be a part of such a talented team of artists, and to be able to share my love of coloring and crafting with you all.

Hi my name is Jodi, I live in Honolulu, Hawaii and am newly and happily married to my hubby who is very supportive of my love for rubberstamping. I have been stamping for as long as I can remember and love to stamp and create cards and projects to share with everyone.  My recent love are my copic pens which are my main media for coloring.

I have been married to my wonderful husband since 1968.  I am a mother of 4 great kids and 8 (soon to be 9) grandkids. I live in sunny Florida and I work part-time as the Financial Secretary for our church. I have enjoyed a multitude of crafts for almost 40 years, and I must say that I am blessed by, challenged with, and addicted to the art of stamping.  I never dreamed I could be having so much fun or enjoying so many talented people as I’ve met since I got into stamping.  I also never dreamed I’d love the Copic markers as much as I do or that I’d get beyond being intimidated by them, but while my use of them is far from perfect I do love them and I’m no longer scared of them (mostly.)

I am so honored to be a part of this talented Design Team.

I have always loved to color since I was young. Since starting my rubber stamp hobby, I have used water colors (just a few tries) switched to Prismacolored Color Pencils then finally to Copic Sketch  markers. I only have limited craft time and I have found that using Copic markers is way fast compared to the other mediums. They are all wonderful to use but Copic markers are my favorite (coloring medium) as of late.

Hello from Wisconsin!  I have three amazing grown children and EIGHT grandkids! I’ve been using my beloved Copics since my VERY first class at Gina K Design’s in September of 2008…and have never looked back since!  I’m totally smitten with these magical markers!  I have dreamed of this blog for a very long time and am so happy that these amazingly talented artists are joining me in this venture.  I truly hope this site is as valuable to you, as it is to me, in your endeavor to “master” the amazing Copic marker!

The smooth color and vibrant tones of Copic markers make me smile.  Using Copics for airbrushing has me dreaming in soft, cloudy colors!  The first Copic markers I bought were Ciaos:  R59 (Cardinal Red), B39 (Prussian Blue) and G99 (Olive Green) with a Colorless Blender (of course).  – Go ahead, laugh.  It’s ok.  –  I couldn’t figure out why these markers wouldn’t blend but I was determined to make it happen!  With a little online research and LOTS of practice, I slowly introduced my paper crafting projects to magnificent color, the Copic Way!  I enjoy helping others get through similar Copic dilemmas and look forward to sharing my love for all things Copic.  I began modern scrapbooking in 2003 and prefer projects with classic handmade, coordinating elements.  My husband George and I live in Burlington, NJ. I am blessed with three grown children and a granddaughter. I currently work full-time as an executive secretary for the State.

I am a WAHM to 2 children (11 & 13) and wife to a very supportive & lovin’ husband. I am an ADD, obsessive, passionate, lover of all things stamping & papercrafting.  I live in Leesburg, VA with my family & our 7 “furbabies”. I am a proud designer for many wonderful stores & stamp companies & I love nothing better to sit & color my stamped images with Copics!!

Hi! I just came to your site from a link from Suzanne Dean’s blog. I so admire her creations and tutorials re: copic markers. I’m fairly new to copic markers and have acquired about 28 Ciao markers. I’m hoping to gradually acquire many more especially after I see all the lovely creations using a variety of these markers. I’m looking forward to learning more techniques from this site!

I stumbled upon your site through the pink stamper and I am very glad that I did!! I am new to copic markers. I do mainly stamping and card making. Which markers would work best for this? I am a little uncertain about the different types available. Thanks so much for the help.

I am so in awe of the work you gals do. I am anxious to enter the world of COPIC, but am so confused on truly where to start.

Wondering if someone might give me some guidance on the best way to get started as far as what would be the right pallet to choose.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!… I am a “TOTAL NEWBIE” here! But, this website IS exactly what I have been in search of for about 3 months!!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!… to ALL who are responsile for this site!!!

You have NO IDEA WHAT A FRUSTRATING time I have had trying to describe what I didn’t know to Title…. like duh… A COPIC MONTHLY CHALLENGE” Tah Dah!!! If possible I just didn’t want to waste the $$$$$$$ on just “buying” on a whim… too expensive for that! So, after find this website, suffice to say I’m BEYOND THRILLED to be here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not have any Magnolia stamps ( pout and cry) I did get some Whiff of Joy stamps for Christmas and am just beginning to try and get started. They are clear and I need help in knowing the best way to store and mount them,… if anyone has the time and doesn’t mind refering me to the best website for this purpose…. that would be wonderful! I want to keep my stamps clean and in a NOTEBOOK type of storage… maybe like Tim Holtz or somebody’s creations that are EASY to store and EASY find AND easy TO MAINTAIN… Anyone up for that challenge? I have about 50 Copic Markers but I want to get more copic blending family color recipies…. you know like maybe your FAVORITE 5 SETS of ” 3 ” Blending Family colors……….. the MAIN COLOR…….-then 2 -3 numbers ABOVE that main color – ….then 2-3 colors BELOW the main color I guess… MONOCHROMATIC… but basically well balanced for nice blending results
Does anyone here have some extra time to help me?… I know, dumb question… we all are mothers and wives or proffessional artists that NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TIME!!!!Well, I am looking for a sweet good samaritan who might feel sorry for me and come to my aid???????

The only place near me in Tennessee where I live is a HL… and in Gulf Breeze, Florida where I visit oftenthere is a JoAnn’s , Michael’s and HL in Pensacola. The only one who carries Copics is HL, and not many colors at that! So, I have to order my sketch copics online… and thought that over time you guys might think of me and send even one of your favorite “Blending Color” families. Well, sorry for the long intro and request, but I am thrilledto be here! Thanks! kath :):):):)

Oh I forgot to tell you to go to and go to my Profile and see the HUGE Art Room my hubby built for me…. I think you’ll love it! When I get back to Jackson, Tn. I have alot of work ahead of me to begin the ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESS!!!! to say the least!!! My main color for the entire room is a soft “Oceany” Turquoise!!! It relaxes me. But, my slanted roofline is somewhat of a bugga bear for storing ideas… but we’ll make it!
    God Bless! kath allen :):):):)
