Hello,
I really don’t know how I came to this site, but I am sure glad that I did! I have just started to get Copics because I admire all the work that I have seen and I want to learn how to use them properly. I will be looking forward to tutorials and/or other useful information. I started to make cards abouta year ago and now I am hooked……..with many papercrafting methods, which of course includes stamping.
Thank you so much for this site and for all the FANTASTIC inspiration.
GOD Bless,
Sharon Field

Hello! I have just stumbled upon your blog from SCS and am amazed at what I have seen in just these first few minutes!
I’ve been playing a *very* little bit with Prisma pencils but am not getting the look I want. I feel that Copics may be the way to go instead of investing in more Prismas. May I ask for some insight on some questions I have?
1. Other than barrel shape, usability in the airbrush system, and number of colors, is there *any* difference between the Sketch and the Ciao as far as quality? Are the chisel and brush nibs the same on both?
2. Which color set would you consider to be the “first” that one should purchase, as far as basic colors, especially for faces? I am on the fence about whether to purchase a set or build a collection of individual colors as I need them.
3. What paper and ink combinations have you found to work best with the Copics?
I understand this is totally subjective and everyone would have their own opinions, but any insight you could provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks! ~ Susan 🙂
I have never participated in a challenge here and can’t figure out how to get my card listed. I posted it on my blog would you be so kind as to post it so I can play along thanks a lot Peggy
I just redesigned my blog and I would love to add your blinkie to my blog. I tried to save it and when I upload it, it’s not working. Can you please send me the code text please. Thank you so much!

Mary – Please let me know if you get this as I have responded several times to your past emails and you don’t seem to be getting them. Yes, I want my prize from Challenge #50 and again have responded since June. My emails must be going into cyberspace somewhere as I have not gotten an answer.
Hi there,
I bought a bunch of copic markers a while ago, and only know how to use them slightly. I would like to get better at it, and would eventually like to get certified, but don’t know how. So I guess my question is how do you become certified?
Thanks,
Pam D
Pam – there are several really good sites to go and visit. The first one that I would recommend for you is I Like Markers. Marianne Walker has given us a encyclopedia of information on copics as well as links to other sites. Another good site to take a peek at is Suzanne Dean’s Copic pages. She is also on You Tube with wonderful training video’s. The only place that I know of to get certified is through Marianne Walker’s site, but there may be others out there. Good luck and if I can help you any further just let me know.

Our challenges are intended to be fun for everyone. We don't mind if you combine challenges, but cards must be a new creation, AND you must link back to the challenge site whether you are posting to your blog or another forum. A direct link to your card via Inlinkz is required. [If you do not have a blog or access to another forum, please email us a photo of your card and we will post it here and add you to Inlinkz.]
In fairness to our generous sponsors and design team, links that do not follow these rules will, unfortunately, be deleted and not eligible for the prize.
If I don’t have a blog, may I still participate???
