Challenge No. 36 ~ Orange!

October 1, 2010

Hello and welcome to a new Copic Creations challenge!

Tis the season . . . this week we are featuring the color ORANGE.    We’re hoping to help a little with your Copic coloring challenges for the Fall/Halloween season with this feature  ~ it certainly seems to be one of the more popular colors.  We hope you will join us!

Once again we have a fabulous sponsor!!    We’re SUPER excited to welcome the awesome digi stamp company, Tiddly Inks as our Copic Creations sponsor this week!

Tiddly Inks is the brainchild of the amazing Christy Croll, who not only is a phenomenally talented children’s illustrator, but a super nice lady too!    If you’ve not had the opportunity to visit Tiddly Inks  …  it’s really worth your time to take a peek!    Christy features ADORABLE digital stamps and papers, along with a growing line of fun products.    And, the best part is that Tiddly Inks is having a 36-Hour SALE, which began this morning at 12:00 AM… better check it out quickly!   🙂

Our prize this week for one lucky participant is a

$20.00 Gift Certificate to Tiddly Inks!!

PLEASE NOTE:    You are NOT required to use an image from our sponsor for your Copic Creations project.   You will have until October 14th, 12:00 p.m. CDT to post your artwork and be eligible for a chance to win this weeks prize; The winner will be announced along with our next challenge post on October 15th.

WOW!!   We were totally blown away by the AWESOME turnout for out last challenge!   Each and every one was a true work of he{art} ~ thank you all!    It was an extremely tough decision to pick just one submission as our “In the Spotlight” participant.

We were finally able to choose this amazing Copic creation by Dawn Burnworth of My Stamping Thyme  . . .

Wow!!    Thanks so much Dawn for your wonderful entry.

Look at the brand new, VERY cool button for our “In the Spotlight” designers from our favorite techno guru Ms. Jami Bova

And, finally …   we have a WINNER!!    Chosen using Random.org, the VERY lucky winner of TWO Kraftin’ Kimmie images of your choice is  ~

Tutorials – Normally, this is where we list the relevant tutorials for our challenge.   However, since we actually had a challenge last year featuring Copic coloring of pumpkins, I’d like to refer you HERE for lots of  ORANGE tutorials.

Since we are not specifically featuring pumpkins this time,  we have listed each Copic Creations Design Team member’s favorite color combinations for the color ORANGE below their card sample.   Christy Croll has graciously supplied us with these adorable images from Tiddly Inks!
