September 15, 2010

Welcome back for another FUN challenge!    This week we’re featuring

Copic Shading ~ either ON your image or AROUND your image  – or both!

And, we KNOW you’ll be excited about this news  ~   We’re VERY fortunate to have one of the most popular stamp companies in town as our sponsor this week . . .

Pretty cool huh?!     For anyone unfamiliar with Kraftin’ Kimmie images – you MUST take a peek at Kimmie’s online store.   You’ll find some of the most adorable stamps which, as the banner states, are  “whimsical rubber stamp images that make you smile“!     Smiley from millan.net     You’ll definitely be smiling when you see the AWESOME creations from the Design Team below ~ everyone has used a Kraftin’ Kimmie image.

Our prize this week to one lucky participant is  . . .

TWO Kraftin’ Kimmie stamp images of your choice!!

PLEASE NOTE:    You are NOT required to use an image from our sponsor for your Copic Creations project.   You will have until September 30th, 12:00 p.m. CDT to post your artwork and be eligible for a chance to win this weeks prize; The winner will be announced along with our next challenge post on October 1st.

Thanks to everyone for joining us for our last challenge!!   We had some wonderful entries and are always amazed at the level of talent out there!     We’re happy to again announce a new “In the Spotlight” participant from our last challenge . . .

[Our computer person has been dealing with a family emergency and we’ve not yet completed the In the Spotlight blog button;  we’re hoping to have this to pass on by October 1st]

Our second “In the Spotlight” designer is the amazingly talented Zoe from Australia!    Here’s her awesome PLEATS/FOLDS creation:

We also have the lucky winners, chosen by Random.org,  of the Magnolia Bon Voyage Tilda or Edwin stamps from Stamping Scrapping are:

No. 4 ~ Sue Morris of Sue’s Magnolia Treasures

Nothing like inking up fresh Kimmie rubber and trying something new! Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful links in this challenge. I really enjoyed some of the YouTube videos, and can’t wait to try the dotty background!

  12. September 18, 2010 5:39 pm

I just can’t get through the design team’s cards without rolling on the floor laughing! I have to wonder if there’s any sign of each design team member that shows in the Kraftin’ Kimmie image they were attracted to choose! LOL!!! You guys are a blast!!!

  13. September 19, 2010 2:38 am

Great DT cards! Sorry for the two links, neglected to link specifically in the first instance 🙂

  14. September 19, 2010 2:46 am

Wow ladies your shading ROCKS!!! These Kimmie images are certainly perfect for the nice dark shading you have each applied. I am absolutely THRILLED to have been chosen as the Spotlight entry from last challenge. I was doing a little happy dance in my chair. Fortunately the webcam wasn’t rolling otherwise I would be blushing right now. heehee

Thanks for the awesome inspiration and I am inclined to think about getting myself one of these KK Stamps!

The DT really rocked this. I can’t wait until I have the skills that they do. I don’t know if what I have done qualifies since I cut my image out. But, I thought that i would give it a shot. Great challenge. I will be back for the next one. I love my copics.
