Challenge No. 38 ~ Browns and/or Make a Scene!

November 1, 2010

Welcome back!   We’ve got a fun new challenge for you today — actually your choice from TWO challenges!

Our main challenge is tackling the many (E – earth tone)  BROWN Copic colors, and/or a secondary challenge of MAKING a SCENE!    (Our sponsor this week offers some fabulous digi images to help you out with this part.)

We’d like to warmly welcome this week’s awesome sponsor,  Make “it” Crafty, an online craft store and papercrafting community created by the SUPER talented and VERY sweet Zoe McGrath!!

I hope you have a few minutes to take a peek at all the features available at the Make it Crafty site.  You’ll find everything you need for papercrafting, including all the most popular supplies, some very cool scenic digital stamps to create a scene with your favorite character stamps, and some very helpful video tutorials showcasing Copic coloring, various other techniques and how to use digi images in MS Word.

The fabulous prize package this week from Make It Crafty for one VERY lucky participant will be . . .

A set of Earth tone Copic Ciao Markers ~ E43, 47, 49

AND

Your choice of THREE Make “It” Crafty digi images!!

PLEASE NOTE:    You are NOT required to use an image from our sponsor for your Copic Creations project.   You will have until November 14th CDT to post your artwork and be eligible for a chance to win this weeks prize; The winner will be announced along with our next challenge post on November 15th.

Each member of the Design Team has used images provided by Make “it” Crafty  for your inspiration.   We were also VERY lucky to have one of the MIC Design Team members, the Copic master – Mag of Mag’s Little Things join us with an awesome example of combing these wonderful digi scene images with some of our very favorite character stamps from Magnolia!

We really enjoyed seeing everyone’s awesome blender pen tips and tricks submissions for our last challenge and learned LOTS of new ideas too!   Thank you ALL for joining us.

This week our In The Spotlight pick just happened to use images from our sponsor this week!    We couldn’t resist featuring this amazing creation from Annika of Another Messy Crafter . . .

hehehe   A definite creative masterpiece!   Thank you Annika for sharing this wonderful card with us ~  I’ll be in touch with the code for our In The Spotlight blinkie.

AND, we have a winner!!   Picked using Random.org, the lucky winner of your choice of FIVE digi images from Pink Cat Studio is . . .

No. 34 ~ Gena from G&G Premade

Congrats Gena!  Please send us your choice of images so we can forward this to our wonderful sponsor!

Thanks again to Melissa of Pink Cat Studio for sponsoring our blender challenge!!
