Challenge No. 49 ~ Sky/Clouds

May 1, 2011

Edited to correct the link to Dana Christiansen’s Copic Tutorial video using Reinkers!   Sorry about that Dana.

Happy May Day!   Thank you for stopping in today ~ we hope you’re having a great weekend.

We’ve got a new challenge for you this week . . .  COLORING SKY and/or CLOUDS using your Copic markers.    This can be either coloring directly on your paper with Copics, or if you’re lucky enough to have one ~ using your airbrush system, or even a slightly different technique using Copic reinkers, which you can check out in our tutorial section below.

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for our FAVORITE PAPER challenge and letting us know what your favorite paper is.    The results were very interesting!    It looks like Neenah was a definite winner.    You can view the final numbers on the original Poll here, just click “View Results” at the bottom.

**We’d love to give YOU the opportunity to try some Cryogen White paper from the Paper Temptress  …  Please check out our special announcement below!**

We’re super excited to announce that one of our all-time favorite sponsors is back!!   The awesome

You will have until May 14th, 12:00 P.M., CDT to post your artwork and be eligible for a chance to win this weeks prize; The winner will be announced along with our next challenge post on May 15th.

Time for the always difficult task of picking our  In The Spotlight card from our last challenge!   We did find this truly awesome creation from Renata of Renata’s Design:

Wow ~  Simply amazing creation, and wonderful Copic coloring!   Thank you for sharing this with us. I’ll be in touch with the code for our In The Spotlight blinkie.
